In February 2020 searched the Pets at Home company website for an animal testing policy. None was found. The company retailed pet supplies such as pet food and treatments that were likely to have been tested on animals.
According to animal rights charity PETA," What some pet food companies are hiding from consumers, however, is that animals like your own are confined to laboratories and subjected to invasive tests for claims on their products."
Pets At Home therefore received Ethical Consumer's worst rating for Animal Testing and consequently lost a mark under the Animal Testing sub category.
